The Transformative Power of Giving Back.

Recently, we spoke with students of Fobang Institutes for Innovations in Science and Technology (FINISTECH) about the transformative power of giving back.

We explored the various ways through which the students could :

- Contribute to enriching their communities;

- Connect to causes they care about;

- Gain unique skills;

- and broaden their perspectives about life.

Bringing Hope Through Sustenance.

On May 10, 2025, Ready for Development (RfD) paid a special visit to orphans and children living with disabilities of Foyer École des Enfants Aveugles Malvoyants et Abandonnés in Bata Nlongkak, Center Region of Cameroon.

The aim of the visit was to:

- Bring hope to the children through words of encouragement ;

- To provide essential food supplies ;

- To reassure the leaders of the Centre that they are not alone.

Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence International Conference.

From April 24th to 25th, 2025, RfD, in partnership with national and international organizations, hosted an international conference on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence in Buea, Cameroon.

The conference aimed to equip lawyers, magistrates, law enforcement officers, and financial entities with new strategies for combating cybercrime. Key topics of discussion included:

Zero Discrimination: Fostering Inclusive Communities.

On the 1st of March 2024, Ready for Development joined the International community to observe Zero Discrimination Day. The organization engaged in a meaningful talk with students of Light Word Anglo-Saxon College in Nsimalen, Center Region of Cameroon.

Sensitization Campaign community development and mental health.

On the 7th of December 2023, Ready for Development talked with students of Collège Privé Laic Fapo, on the importance of community development and mental health.

Back-to-School. The importance of education.

On the 2nd of november 2023, Ready for Development (RfD) and Wem’Afrika paid a courtesy visit to Princess Bilingual Primary School situated in Olembe in the center region of Cameroon.

The visit aimed to celebrate the girl child and reiterate the value of education.
