Why we exist

Across Cameroon and Africa, many young people and underserved communities have the talent and ambition to thrive, but face barriers to skills, employment, digital opportunities, networks, resources and meaningful participation in development.

Rapid technological change, including AI, is creating new opportunities while widening the gap for those without the skills and access to benefit from them.

Meanwhile, many promising community initiatives lack the visibility, partnerships, and resources needed to grow their impact.

RFD exists to bridge these gaps by connecting people and communities to the skills, opportunities, resources and partnerships they need to create a better future.
