Our Journey
Ready for Development (RfD) was established in September 2023 with a simple but ambitious belief: people and communities can achieve more when they have access to the right knowledge, skills, opportunities, networks and support..
What began as an initiative focused on empowering people and supporting community development has progressively evolved into a growing platform for capacity building, youth empowerment, civic engagement, professional development, community action and strategic partnerships.

In 2024, RfD began expanding its engagement with young people, professionals and communities through learning opportunities, community initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities. The focus was on creating spaces where people could learn, connect, exchange ideas and develop practical skills...
In 2025, RfD strengthened its programme activities and expanded its engagement through capacity-building initiatives, leadership and development events, community outreach, professional learning, and partnerships. The organization also increased collaboration with other civil society and development actors, recognizing that partnerships are essential to achieving sustainable impact.
